My coaching philosophy is to give my players the tools in which they can use to become creative and successful players and model citizens through having fun and creating a passion for the game.

I have nineteen years of experience coaching youth soccer in England and the United States. I have a passion for creating highly educated, creative and motivated athletes with an unshakable sense of self-worth. I am a dedicated and well-liked coach with a reputation for building confidence, morale and skills to create winning teams.

I am currently the girls varsity soccer coach at Tecumseh High School, in my first year we finished 3rd in the league, winning 9 games. I was awarded the 2017 County Coach of the Year Award

In 2017 I was the volunteer assistant as Siena Heights University for the Men's program, 4 games into the season I was given the team as the interim head coach and went 6-6-0 for that year coaching the team to a stadium record of 6 wins and having the best season for 8 years.

Before moving to Michigan I coached at at Willamette High School for five years, and in the time when I served as the girls JV soccer coach the team only lost four games in three years. In addition, I was the boys varsity soccer coach for the past three years, and under my leadership they won the league for the first time in its 63-year history! I was awarded the 2011 and 2012 MWL Coach of the Year and 2011 Oregon State 5a Coach of the Year.

I earned my BA in Education Foundations from the University of Oregon and Master's Degree in Recreation and Sport Pedagogy with a focus in soccer coaching from Ohio University. I am currently working towards my Doctorate in Higher Education and Leadership at Concordia University. In addition, I have two high level coaching licenses - my UEFA A and USSF B and I plan on receiving my UEFA Pro license in 2019.
