My skills in management run the gamut from entertainment to straight business concerns. For instance, one of my first large assignments while living in England during the 90s was to help manage two different girl bands for the promotion company Wessex Media. My duties included overseeing the girls rehearsals, assisting in recording (setting up mics, creating beats, mixing), accompanying the talent on photoshoots and providing a video record of events.
Upon returning to the States I managed a web development company. My duties included identifying possible clients, designing sites, overseeing the work of the programmers, billing and dealing with any problems.
More recently, I have managed my own company, Amsel Media Group. In this capacity I help identify revenue streams, interact with clients, design and build websites, and assist in recording and editing music and video projects.

Updated and maintenance of existing web sites Planning and development of internet marketing strategies and SEO for business. Developing web and mobile information architectures, database dependencies, and functionality for in-house software. Manage the video and audio equipment located at the Eugene Studios.
Excalibur Cutlery and Gifts - Director of Information Technology - (2007-2009)
Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions. Developed commerce website using PHP and MySQL. Took product photos and wrote product descriptions. Installed electrical, telephone and network wiring at warehouse location. Provided telephone and technical support for all customers.
University of Oregon School of Law - Help Desk & Website Manager - (2001-2007)
Designed and maintained responsive design of the website. Debug issues that may have arose with the performance of the website. Created a back end software program in PHP that students used for communication between professors. Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software for students and staff. Responded to queries, ran diagnostic programs, isolated problems, and determined the solutions. Trained other support staff.
RightNow Technologies - Web Technician / System Engineer - (1999-2001)
Provide pre-sales support to the RightNow sales team through comprehensive product demonstrations to prospects. Provide the vision for how the RightNow platform would be tailored for each prospect. Analyze functional and technical requirements of prospects, identify and help address the variety of technical issues prospects may encounter. Create demo sites with the customers “look and feel” for the sales team.
